Actionable Issues
There are a number of issues that we feel are important to all our citizens. We embrace open and transparent government and pledge to improve communications between elected officials and the public by opening additional channels of communication and dialogue with citizens.
Issues
The Business District
The team is committed to working with our civic organizations to market and promote our business district as a means to increase the tax base. Forest Hills lies on the corridor between emerging high tech and clean manufacturing sectors, and we have have an opportunity attract new businesses, expand our business district, and make Forest Hills a destination for others to visit.
Open Communications
We will continue to find ways to effectively communicate with all citizens using all media available. We welcome public input on decisions that affect our community.
Environmental
We are committed to updating implementing the Climate Action Plan to ensure that we are protecting the health and well-being of all residents while reducing our carbon footprint. We want to expand recreational opportunities by improving and upgrading our parks and walking trails.
Community Development
We will partner with the Forest Hills Community Alliance (FHCA) in building community wealth through community-based physical, economic, and social programs aimed at improving neighborhood conditions.
Contribute to Our Campaign
We welcome donations to our campaign to help defray the cost of informational materials, mailings and signs. No amount is too small.
